So, why doesn't Subaru offer it on manual transmission cars?

I test-drove one. I ordered a Crosstrek Premium six-speed. The CVT is even more unpleasant than a torque converter planetary, and I would never have believed that was possible.

i have a turbo subaru - modified with gentle upgrades = 250 whp .

ubaru has done nothing but let me down since I purchased a a 2019 Ascent. I had to change the battery 3 weeks into owning the car. I experienced engine failure, which multiple people have told me is not uncommon and YOUR company refuses to repair under warranty!!! The dealership I had to tow my car to (Courtesy Subaru in Rapid City, South Dakota) is trying to charge me 24 THOUSAND DOLLARS for the repair. Customer advocacy has done NOTHING. They won’t return my calls. My car is being held hostage. They tell me they need one thing, I get it then they change their story entirely. SUBARU LOVE is a LIE. Subaru doesn’t backntheir product. The warranty is a SCAM. I am a single mother, an ICU nurse in a pandemic and I lost my job from this disaster. I already suffer PTSD and this nightmare has set me back tens of thousand of dollars and I haven’t had my car in months. I would never EVER recommend a Subaru to ANYONE. There’s a reason people say Subarus are reliable after to take good care of it and change the engine once.

When I bought my first Subaru back in 2016, it was surprising how many surveys they mailed out asking about EVERYTHING. I have never dealt with a car manufacturer that took so much time to read it's customers. It's easy to see why there's so much brand loyalty for Subaru. I love driving my 3.6L Legacy.

Subaru can appeal much better to the younger and/or female crowd if they improve the interiors. Just look at their compatriots Honda and Mazda, just stunning. Love the drivetrain, but most people don’t know that.

Subaru needs to focus on hybrid or full EV models to stay ahead of auto competition. Having just 1 model for 2023 is not enough.

I like Subaru because they put their 100% in making safe cars and their utilitarian look is pretty alright

Soooo much marketing hype. Good Lord. Groovy hype, but still. The tangibles are kind of hard to dig out of the philosophizing and appeals to sentiment, but nonetheless seem real enough: some shape changes, structural changes to make it quieter, better seats (VERY good move, as Subaru has been running last on lumbar support), some new or at least enhanced camera/safety technology, a bigger screen and apparently sharpened up ergonomics/placement of controls. But these are not revolutionary. We are all dying to see a really good hybrid, possibly a wilderness trim, more power, amazing mileage. A really powerful hybrid would be quite something, and other makes are getting there. Hope Soob does too.

Still subaro is not pleasing to costumers they should depart from making SUV that looks like a sedan....they should adopt those like japanese cars in a SUV segment that is bigger like fortuner of toyota, MUX of isuzu and Mazda.
